What to expect at Y Youth Sports:

At the Y, we are doing our best to run Youth Sports as safely as possible while following CDC guidelines and enhanced safety procedures.

Basketball (ages 3-14)

Did you know that basketball was founded at the Y? Young athletes learn the fundamentals of the game while building their confidence as well as valuable lessons in teamwork and leadership.

Cost: $68 Y Member, $158 Non Member
First game- October 9


Soccer (ages 3 -11)

A progressive program, participants learn basic soccer skills through games and activities associated with weekly practices. 

Cost: $68 Y Member, $158 Non Member
First game- October 9


Volleyball (ages 8-17)

Serving up fun! Youth volleyball provides an introduction to the popular sport invented at the YMCA. Participants will learn the rules and develop the skills in the areas of bumping, serving, and setting.

Flag Football

Whether new to the sport or not quite ready for tackle football yet, Y flag football is a great alternative for ages 5-12. Participants learn basic rules, skills, and strategies in a non-competitive environment.


Cheerleading

Do you have spirit? Participants build self-confidence and self-esteem while developing social skills and healthy relationships. Learn the fundamentals in a safe, encouraging environment. The Squad cheers on Youth Sports programs weekly.


Lil' Sluggers (T-Ball)

The perfect way to activate toddlers (ages 2-5) motor skills. In a safe and fun environment, young players learn how to catch, throw, and bat from a tee. Simply put, they'll have a ball while learning! 


Lacrosse

An up and coming sport, young athletes will learn how to cradle, throw, and catch under the guidance of the Lynn University Men's Lacrosse team. 


Tennis

Game, set match! Children will learn the game of tennis in a fun and engaging way from Tennis Pro-instructors.
