DONATION EXPANDS YMCA TEEN SCHOLARSHIP FOR AT RISK TEENS

The DeVos-Blum Family YMCA partnered with the Caridad Center to host a free New Worlds Reading event, serving over 160 community members with bilingual literacy activities, free books, and resources. The event also provided school supplies, health services, and meals, highlighting the YMCA’s commitment to supporting youth development and strengthening community partnerships.

The YMCA of South Palm Beach County received a generous $75,000 estate gift from Frank J. and Teresa L. Scarane to support special needs programming. This donation will enhance services for neurodiverse children and young adults, providing resources like art supplies and therapy to foster creativity, connection, and skill development in a supportive environment.

The YMCA of South Palm Beach County has served the community for over 50 years, providing programs that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Through initiatives like after-school care, summer camp, wellness programs, and community outreach, the Y helps individuals and families thrive while fostering connection, inclusivity, and well-being for all.
