We Give Because

We talk every day about the impact of the YMCA. This year, our Y’s Admin staff team put their own “why” behind those words.

As part of our YMCA's Annual Giving Campaign, each Admin team member was asked to reflect on a simple question: WHY DO YOU GIVE?

Their answers were personal. They shared moments of impact, stories that have stayed with them and reasons they believe so deeply in the work of the YMCA.

And then, together, they did something pretty special:

100% of our Admin Staff made a personal gift to the Annual Giving Campaign.

It isn’t about how much someone gives. It’s about standing together behind the mission and helping ensure more children, families and individuals have the opportunity to experience the Y.

Our team believes in the work we do, the people we serve and the difference we make together. And they’re leading by example.

Our YMCA’s Annual Giving Campaign helps ensure that children, families and individuals throughout our community have access to life-changing Y programs and experiences, regardless of their ability to pay.
