A summer filled with adventure, new friendships and opportunities to grow can leave a lasting impact on a child’s life. For the DeJura family, the YMCA helped turn those possibilities into reality.

Thanks to the Y’s Financial Assistance Program, the DeJura children enjoyed a summer of discovery, growth and connection at the DeVos-Blum Family YMCA. Through Traditional Camp, Fitness Camp and the Leaders-in-Training program, each child had the opportunity to explore new interests, build confidence, develop leadership skills and create memories that will last long after summer ends.

“Your scholarship was truly a lifesaver for our family,” shared their father, Adam. “It gave our children a safe, fun and enriching place to spend the summer while allowing them to stay active, build confidence and develop leadership skills.”
