The YMCA of South Palm Beach County’s Building Possibilities Comprehensive Campaign began by listening to our community. As our needs continued to grow, it became clear that the YMCA had to expand to keep pace, sparking a bold effort to strengthen our facilities and deepen our impact.

Guided by our belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, the YMCA of South Palm Beach County has launched a transformative campaign to expand our reach, enhance our facilities, and meet the urgent and evolving needs of our growing community.

Serving Our Community Since 1972

For more than 50 years, our YMCA has positively impacted generations of Floridians through its programs and services. Now YOU can help shape the future of our Y and help build possibilities for generations to come.

Our Goal

We are undertaking a long-term initiative to expand our facilities and offerings at the Peter Blum Family YMCA and DeVos-Blum Family YMCA. These vital improvements that will allow us to prioritize several key areas including enriched childcare and inspiring Youth Development, promoting lifelong Wellness and mobility, expanding and re-energizing our Group Exercise and Sports, and customized programs tailored to our community's unique needs.

Our Y's are bursting at the seams and our youth programs are exceeding capacity. Both youth and adults are in need of education, inspiration and opportunities to lead healthier lifestyles. Busy families need support with their teens as they suffer from mental, social and academic challenges compounded by the pandemic. And growing loneliness and social isolation is putting our seniors at risk.

We ask you to please consider joining us on this bold, 3-year initiative.

Peter Blum Family YMCA

Today, we must increase our capacity to serve children and families - for generations. As the population grows and evolves, so must we. We need additional space and program opportunities to serve our community today and for decades to come.

DeVos-Blum Family YMCA

While our community is a wonderful place to live, many of our neighbors still struggle. Today, we must expand our facility to increase youth programming and provide more wellness and chronic disease prevention opportunities to serve the community now and into the future.
