Safety Around Water Days

Help your child build confidence and stay safe in and around the water with our Safety Around Water Days program at the YMCA of South Palm Beach County.

Program Details
Dates: All Fridays in May 2026 (May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29)
Time: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM (30-minute sessions)
Cost: Free
Ages: 3–12 (for children with little to no experience in the water)
Locations:

• DeVos-Blum Family YMCA
• Peter Blum Family YMCA

This program is designed to serve up to 100 participants (50 at each branch) and focuses on teaching essential water safety skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Children will learn basic techniques that can help prevent drowning and build a strong foundation for future swim learning.
