Guest Policy

When using guest passes, please keep the following in mind: 

  • Guest passes are for friends, family, business associates etc. who have a serious interest in joining the YMCA, but would first like to sample the facilities and programs.  We invite our guests to receive a tour, during which a guest pass is given. 
  • All guests must provide the YMCA with a photo ID, sign the YMCA guest waiver and be registered as a guest.
  • Guests may be asked to wear a guest ID bracelet while participating in a YMCA program or using the facility.
  • Guests must be 18 years or older.
  • Guest 17 years old and younger please refer to Teen Guest Pass information.
  • All individuals may use the facilities two times per year at no charge.  All visits are $15/day after the first two. 

Teen Guest Pass Policy 

  • Guests 12-17 must be accompanied by a member and signed in by a legal parent/guardian
  • All individuals may use the facilities two times per year at no charge.  All visit are $5/day after the first two.
  • A parent must fill out and sign guest waiver.  On the form the emergency contact information will include guest’s parents name and phone number.
  • For guests 16 years or younger use of the fitness center is restricted. 

Membership Check-in Procedures for Y-access:

  • All members, 3 years old and older, are required to have a member services representative scan their membership card each time they enter the facility.
  • If you have forgotten your card, please show photo identification to the member services staff. They will manually check you in.
  • A $5.00 replacement fee is charged for all lost or stolen cards.
  • Access to the facility will be denied if you are without a membership card or photo identification.

Locker Room Usage

Locker rooms are provided for each and every individual at the Y. Please follow the listed guidelines for proper locker room usage:

  • Adult Locker Rooms – Adults 18 years old or older.
  • Youth Locker Rooms – Youth 6 to 17 years old and parents with children of the same gender.
  • Special Locker Room - Co-ed with individual changing rooms are available for our members with special needs.  We recommend that caregivers with children under age 6 use the Special Needs locker room.
  • Bring your own lock and remove it after each facility visit.

YMCA Refund Policy for Classes and Programs

A full refund will be given if the YMCA cancels a class. A credit will be given for health reasons within the first week of class with a doctor’s note.

Youth Policy

At age 12, children are developmentally able to participate in programs at the YMCA without parental supervision. For safety purposes all children, 11 years old and younger, must be supervised by a parent/adult or be involved in a structured program.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance may be available and is awarded based on the applicant’s demonstrated ability to pay and the availability of YMCA scholarship funds.  We provide financial assistance through the generosity of the friends who contribute to the Partners with Youth Scholarship Program.  Application forms are available at the member services desk.

Code of Conduct

The YMCA is committed to providing a Christian atmosphere and a healthy, safe environment that ensures the highest respect and courtesy for members, participants, guests and staff. We expect the proper use, maintenance, and care of all property and equipment by our members and guests.

Every member and guest may expect the following:

  • A smoke and drug free environment.

  • An environment free of verbal abuse, swearing, fighting, inappropriate sexual behavior, and verbal or physical harassment.

  • An environment that respects staff, members and guests.

  • An environment that shows respect for property of members, staff and the YMCA.

  • Membership and the use of the YMCA facility is a privilege. Individuals disrupting this environment may lose this privilege.
