SAFE START
Safe Start is a survival swim
program that gives children the skills to survive.
It is a comprehensive six-week program that involves
10-minute per day lessons, five days a week. Children
as young as 6 months old work one-on-one with a
certified Safe Start instructor to master the aquatic
survival techniques. No child is ever thrown into the
water. Instead, they are safely guided through the
learning process, mastering the back float position,
as well as resting and breathing. For children 12
months and older, Safe Start teaches a survival
sequence of swimming, rolling to float, flipping back
over, and continue swimming to safety. Once skilled,
children practice these techniques fully clothed.
Call today to register your child or
visit the
SAFE START web site for more information about this
life saving program.
