Youth Strength (12 –15 years old)
Your child will learn the basics of anatomy, physiology, nutrition and weight training. The course concludes with a written and practical test. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be permitted to utilize the fitness center without parental supervision.
Adventure Quest (11 - 15 years old)
Adventure Quest is a program designed for children to experience the natural environments that surround them. Here, kids will have the opportunity to learn about specific ecosystems and how important it is for us to take care of the environment while having fun at the same time. The first session of Adventure Quest is structured around aquatic environments. We’ll be learning about ecosystems such as coral reefs, beaches and the everglades. Kids will have a chance to participate in activities such as art projects, nature walks, beach cleanups, an airboat ride in the everglades and a snorkel trip.
Youth Sports Leagues (8- 15 years old)
Winners Division - Values based competitive sports program.
Seasonal sports include; Soccer, Cheerleading, Basketball, Baseball, Flag Football
Barracuda Swim Team (5-18 years old)
Competitive swim team for youths ages 5-18 years. Swim team seasons are continuous throughout the year. Practices are Monday - Thursday 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Participants must complete a try-out to enroll. Please contact Jennifer Daratany at (561) 237-0951 for further information.
Teen Leaders Club (12-15 years old)
Safe place for social time with other teens with dedicated staff that help teens develop leadership skills, participate in service projects and refine employment skills. Special events and field trips take place throughout the year.
Activities take place at the Peter Blum Family YMCA of Boca Raton.
Young Yogis (5 to 12 years old)
The physical benefits of yoga for children include improved flexibility and coordination but that’s just the beginning. Practicing yoga can also improve your child’s ability to focus, concentrate and listen as well as enhancing your child’s self confidence.

YMCA Youth Skills Clinics
Benefit from personal attention, individual vs. team play and fundament skill development. Clinics are designed to give players supplemental practice that they can apply in their league games. There will be no games just practices. If you want to be the best you have to learn how to practice. Practice makes perfect!

Swim team is committed to developing quality swim strokes, starts and turns which allows youth to experience the excitement of competition in a friendly environment.
