Quantum Child Development Center
The Quantum Child Development Center is dedicated to providing young children with a developmentally appropriate, year round preschool program. Preschool education based on the child-centered Reggio Emilia approach which respects the ideas, interests and development of each child.
Provides five, three or two day programs for children 3 years and older.
Swim instruction for all children enrolled in the program.
Classrooms are designed to provoke exploration, curiosity and creativity
Provider of the state funded VPK program. (Children must be 4 years by September 1)
Daily hours: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
2011-2012 Registration for 3 year olds: (Must be 4 by September 2, 2011)
Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten- (must be 4 by September 1, 2011)

Crafty Creations (3 to 4 years old)
Classes will include story time, art projects, science projects, light cooking projects and other fun activities to keep your Preschooler busy!

Your child will experience social, emotional, and physical development through a variety of activities such as games, art, music, dramatic play, and basic tumbling. Class available to YMCA Family Members only.

Busy Bees (2 to 3 years old)
Course runs Sept. - May

Your child will enjoy crafts, playground time, stories, games and interact with other children while you enjoy some “Mommy Time".

Parent/Child Literacy Program:
Our goal is to help strengthen families in our community through literacy based activities and lessons. The program includes parent/child literacy time as well as independent learning for parents and child.

Free Parenting Seminars with Dr. Heidi Escoto
Dr. Heidi Escoto will be leading our parenting workshops on a variety of topics such as Behavior, Discipline, Children's Self-Esteem, How to Handle Power Struggles, Teaching Self-Control and more!
Workshops are held every 2nd Monday of every month at the DeVos-Blum Family YMCA of Boynton Beach.

Y-Care Child Watch
Our YMCA provides short-term programming for children 6 weeks to 5 years old, while their guardians participate in YMCA activities. Children are not permitted in exercise classes or to be left alone anywhere in the building. The Child Watch area has a two-hour time limit.

Afternoon Adventures (2pm-6pm):
A fun place to let your child make friends, have fun and be productive. Kids will have snack time and study hall before splitting up into the club of their choice. Transportation is provided from: Citrus Cove Elementary, Freedom Shores Elementary, Hidden Oaks Elementary, Manatee Elementary and Hagen Ranch Elementary and Sunset Palms Elementary.

Club ShowBiz (4pm-6pm):
This club is intended to bring out the inner star. The focus is on improvisation, theater and TV news skills. Kids will put on shows and create their own weekly Y news. (Mon & Wed) or (Tues & Thurs) * Grades: 2-5
Club Athlete (4pm-6pm):
This club promotes a well rounded view of sports. Every week children will learn fun facts and the fundamentals of a new sport. This is not just a club to play sports but a club to implement true sportsmanship and help build athletes through friendly competition.

Club Traditions (4pm-6 pm):
This club is geared for the child who like to do everything. They will participate in arts and crafts, Zumba, improve games, recreational sports and more!

Kids Night Out (5 - 10 years old):
Enjoy an evening out, while yours kids have fun eating pizza, watching movies, swimming and playing games with their friends! Kids Nights are held the 3rd Friday of the month. (program may change due to holidays.)
